Prices depend on how many countries the route covers, how long you stay and the departure date. Four-day programmes covering Bosnia-Herzegovina and Montenegro start around €380 per person, while eight-day multi-country routes linking Sarajevo, Skopje, Ohrid and Belgrade start around €700. These prices include flights, transfers, accommodation and a Turkish-speaking guide.
The classic multi-country programme runs seven nights and eight days, with a full day each in Sarajevo and Mostar and time left for Skopje, Ohrid and Belgrade. Three-night programmes covering only Bosnia-Herzegovina and Montenegro are more intensive but more affordable.
May–June and September–October are ideal: daytime temperatures sit around 20–28 °C and city walks stay comfortable. July and August are hot inland and crowded along the Adriatic. In winter the Bjelašnica and Jahorina ski resorts near Sarajevo come into their own.
Holders of a Republic of Türkiye passport may enter Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Albania and Kosovo without a visa for tourism. Croatia, Slovenia, Bulgaria and Greece are EU/Schengen countries; a Schengen visa is required if the route passes through them or if you transit there. Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond the return date.
Sarajevo’s Baščaršija and the Latin Bridge, the UNESCO-listed Stari Most in Mostar, Lake Ohrid and the Church of St. John at Kaneo, the Bay of Kotor and the beaches of Budva, the Blagaj Tekke and Kravice Waterfalls, Skopje’s Stone Bridge and Belgrade’s Kalemegdan Fortress are the most visited stops.
Accommodation is usually in four-star hotels close to the city centre, with breakfast included. Travel between cities is by air-conditioned coach; distances are short, so daily journeys are mostly two to four hours.
