Northern Cyprus tours are three-night packages with flights that take you around the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus: you fly to Ercan Airport, stay at a hotel in Kyrenia (Girne) and spend the days on excursions to Nicosia (Lefkoşa), Kyrenia, the Karpas Peninsula and Famagusta (Gazimağusa). This page lists every available Northern Cyprus tour from different departure cities and airlines in one place, each with its duration and starting price per person.
The available itineraries depart from Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Antalya and Adana–Mersin in Türkiye. Turkish Airlines and Pegasus fly directly to Ercan Airport; the flight takes around an hour and a half. You meet the group at the international departures terminal of your departure airport at least three hours before the flight. Flight numbers and times are listed in each tour’s day-by-day itinerary.
Every tour is 3 nights and 4 days. You stay at a hotel in Kyrenia, and most itineraries include half board (breakfast and dinner). Because you fly out early in the morning and return on an evening flight, the first and last days are sightseeing days too.
On day one, after landing at Ercan, you tour Nicosia and Kyrenia. Day two takes you to the north-eastern tip of the island, the Karpas Peninsula, with a stop at the Apostolos Andreas Monastery. On day three you visit Yavuz Landing Beach and the Cengiz Topel Memorial around Kyrenia. On the last day you see Namık Kemal Square, the Lala Mustafa Pasha Mosque, the Venetian Palace and the Monastery of St Barnabas in Famagusta before the evening flight home. The order of stops can vary by itinerary.
Return flights, hotel accommodation, guiding and the excursions in the itinerary are included. Lunches, drinks with meals, museum and archaeological site entrance fees and personal expenses are not. Each tour lists its inclusions and exclusions item by item on its own page; any excursion not on the list is charged separately.
Northern Cyprus does not require a passport from Turkish citizens: the new chip ID card is accepted, while old-style ID cards are not. A passport is also accepted. Rules on documents and length of stay can change, so check the current guidance from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs before you travel. Travellers of other nationalities should check the entry rules for their own passport.
The currency in Northern Cyprus is the Turkish lira, and cards are widely accepted. Traffic drives on the left, which matters if you rent a car. Sockets are the British three-pin type (Type G), so you may need an adapter for chargers brought from Türkiye or mainland Europe.
April to October is the beach season, and midsummer is very hot. From October to April the weather stays mild, which suits sightseeing-heavy itineraries around Nicosia, Famagusta and the Karpas. Tours around school breaks, public holidays and New Year fill up earlier.
All available Northern Cyprus tours are 3 nights and 4 days. You arrive in the morning on day one and leave in the evening on the last day, so all four days are sightseeing days.
