Cruises

On a cruise, accommodation, meals, and transportation are combined in one package: you stay on the ship every night and dock at a different port during the day. This page lists currently available cruises by ship name, ports of call, number of nights, and starting price per person; sailings departing from ports in Türkiye, packages that include a flight from Istanbul and embarkation at European ports, and Nile cruises in Egypt are all listed together.

What Is Included in the Cruise Price?

The price of a cruise is based on the cabin and Full Board meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner served in the main restaurants and buffet, onboard shows, and shared facilities such as the pool and gym are generally included. For packages with flights, round-trip flights and port transfers are also added to the package. Drinks packages, shore excursions at ports, spa services and personal expenses are charged separately on most programs. Each tour page lists what is included; because packages can differ even on the same ship, be sure to check this list.

Cabin Types: Interior, Oceanview, Balcony, and Suite

An inside cabin has no window and is the most affordable option. An outside cabin has a window or porthole overlooking the sea. A balcony cabin has its own private balcony; suites offer more living space and additional services. The price shown in the listing is the per-person price of the lowest-priced cabin when two people share. Other cabin types can be selected during booking for an additional amount per person; the difference is shown on each tour page.

Service Charge and Tips

Most major cruise lines charge a service fee per person for each night spent on board. This fee may be included in the price of some packages, charged to your onboard account for others, or collected separately at the time of booking. The status of the service fee is specified in the tour's inclusions and exclusions; be sure to account for it when planning your budget.

Cruise Tours Departing from Türkiye

Departures from the ports of Istanbul, Kuşadası, Marmaris and Çeşme require no flight; you board the ship directly in Türkiye. Short itineraries departing from Çeşme call at Greek islands, some of which offer Turkish citizens a visa on arrival at the port. Departures from Istanbul and Marmaris extend beyond the Greek islands to ports in Italy or along the Adriatic coast. Passengers are generally responsible for getting to the port on these itineraries.

Flight-Inclusive Packages: Embarkation from European Ports

Most Western Mediterranean sailings depart from ports such as Barcelona, Savona, Genoa, Marseille, or Civitavecchia, the port for Rome. With flight-inclusive packages, you fly from Istanbul to these ports, transfer to the port on arrival, and board the ship the same day; on the return journey, there is also a transfer from the port to the airport. The airline, flight number, and flight times are listed in each tour’s day-by-day itinerary.

Visa and Passport

Ports in Greece, Italy, Spain, France, Malta, Croatia and Portugal are within the Schengen Area; Turkish citizens traveling on ordinary (burgundy) passports need a Schengen visa for itineraries calling at these ports. If the ship calls at a port outside the region, such as one in Morocco or Tunisia, before re-entering the Schengen Area, the visa must be multiple-entry. Under Schengen rules, your passport must remain valid for at least three months after your departure date from the area.

Port Days and Days at Sea

The ship usually arrives at the port in the morning and departs in the late afternoon. On port days, you can explore the city independently or join shore excursions arranged by the cruise line. At some ports, the ship cannot dock and passengers are taken ashore in small boats. Days at sea are spent on board, enjoying the pool, shows, and restaurants. Each tour’s day-by-day itinerary lists the arrival and departure times at each port.
