Abu Dabbab Bay is the place in the Red Sea where you have the best chance of seeing sea turtles and dugongs (sea cows). The water is shallow, so you can observe them while snorkeling. The seagrass above the sandy seabed is a feeding ground for both species. You will swim with a guide, keeping the required distance from the animals. Snorkeling equipment is included. The bay has shaded areas and sun loungers. There are extensive seagrass beds in the middle of the bay, with coral reefs at its northern and southern ends. Green sea turtles are frequently spotted here; dugongs visit the bay to feed from time to time, so sightings are not guaranteed.
