Classic Egypt Tour — Cairo, Luxor & Aswan

About Classic Egypt Tour — Cairo, Luxor & Aswan

An itinerary tracing Egypt's history from beginning to end. In Cairo, explore the pyramids and museums; in Luxor, the temples and Valley of the Kings; and in Aswan, Philae and Abu Simbel. Travel between cities is by domestic flights; the itinerary does not include long, tiring road journeys. Abu Simbel is the colossal rock-cut temple of Ramesses II on the shores of Lake Nasser. During the construction of the dam, it was dismantled stone by stone and moved 65 metres higher, making it the most impressive stop on the itinerary. This is a packed cultural itinerary, with an average of 6–8 hours of sightseeing per day. An extension to the Red Sea coast is available for those seeking seaside time and relaxation.
