Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1 — Transfer from Istanbul to Rome
You will meet at the international departures terminal of Istanbul Airport for your flight; it is recommended that you complete check-in at least three hours before departure. You will depart on Turkish Airlines flight TK1861 at 07:40 and arrive in Rome at 09:20. After landing, you will take a panoramic drive around the city; the itinerary includes stops at the Fountain of Love and Trevi Fountain. Rome is the capital of Italy, known for the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, the Pantheon and the Trevi Fountain. Overnight accommodation is at a hotel in Rome.
Day 2 — Rome Discovery
After breakfast, the day begins with a tour of Rome's historic landmarks. The itinerary includes the Colosseum, the Vatican, the Roman Forum, St. Peter's Basilica, and St. Peter's Square. Lunch and dinner are at participants' own expense. During your free time, you can visit Campo de' Fiori square independently. Overnight at the hotel in Rome.
Day 3 — Rome Tour Continuation
After breakfast, head back into Rome. The stop for the day is the Basilica of San Pietro in Vincoli. Lunch and dinner are at your own expense. Overnight at a hotel in Rome.
Day 4 — Return from Rome to Istanbul
After breakfast and checking out of your room, you'll be transferred from the hotel to the airport. Turkish Airlines flight TK1864 departs at 20:00 and returns to Istanbul at 23:35. During the day, before your return, you'll visit Lake Albano and Lake Nemi.
