Meet at the international terminal of Sabiha Gökçen Airport; you are advised to arrive at the airport at least three hours before your flight. Depart for Sarajevo on a Pegasus flight (departure 08:25, arrival 08:20). Today's program includes a city tour featuring Baščaršija, Sebilj Square, the Copperworkers' Bazaar, Latin Bridge, the Sacred Heart Cathedral and the Eternal Flame Monument. Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, is a city where Ottoman bazaar architecture and streets from the Austro-Hungarian era exist side by side. Founded in the 15th century, Baščaršija is considered the heart of the city, with its copper workshops, small shops and Sebilj Fountain. The craft of copperworking is still practiced on the street known as Kazandžiluk, where handmade coffee pots and plates are produced in the workshops. Overnight at the hotel.
The day starts with a buffet breakfast at the hotel. On an optional excursion, you can visit Blagaj Tekke, the Neretva River, Blagaj Dervish Tekke, Mostar Old Bridge, Mostar Bridge and Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque; those not joining the tour can spend the day at leisure at the hotel. Blagaj Tekke is a 16th-century tekke, one of the Balkans’ best-known dervish buildings, built where the Buna River emerges from beneath a rock. The Neretva River runs through the Herzegovina region and is known for its turquoise waters and the bridge in Mostar. Also known as Stari Most, Mostar Old Bridge is a 16th-century example of Ottoman architecture. It was added to the UNESCO list after being rebuilt and is also known for the tradition of jumping from the bridge. Overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, you will check out of the hotel and transfer to the airport. You will return to Istanbul on a Pegasus Airlines flight (departure 16:10, arrival 20:00). The optional excursion includes the Tunnel of Hope, Baščaršija, the Bosna River and Vrelo Bosne National Park; those who do not join the excursion can enjoy free time at the hotel during the day. The Tunnel of Hope, dug by hand beneath the airport runway during the years of the siege, can now be visited as a museum.
