We begin our journey by meeting at the international departures terminal of Istanbul Airport; you are advised to arrive at the airport at least three hours before departure. We depart at 07:20 on Turkish Airlines flight TK1021 and arrive in Sarajevo at 08:15. After landing, we begin a panoramic city tour. The first stops include the Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque, the Latin Bridge and the Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque. Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, is known for Baščaršija and the Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque. Overnight at a hotel in Sarajevo.
The day is set aside for free time after breakfast. Lunch and dinner are at your own expense. We will spend the night at the hotel in Sarajevo again. In your free time, you can explore Baščaršija at your own expense.
After breakfast, we set off from Sarajevo for Belgrade. Along the way, we see the Temple of Saint Sava, Kalemegdan Square, the Clock Tower, the Sokollu Mehmed Pasha Fountain, the Monument to Stefan Lazarević, and Nebojša Tower. Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, is known for Kalemegdan Fortress and Knez Mihailova Street. Lunch and dinner are at your own expense. Overnight at a hotel in Belgrade.
After breakfast, we begin our tour of Belgrade. The itinerary includes the Four Lions Fountain, Belgrade Gate at Petrovaradin Fortress, Leopold Gate, Freedom Square, the National Theatre and the Svetozar Miletić Monument. Lunch and dinner are at your own expense. Overnight at the hotel in Belgrade.
After breakfast and check-out, we will transfer you to the airport. We depart Belgrade at 16:15 on Turkish Airlines flight TK1080 and return to Istanbul at 19:05.
The tour is 4 nights and 5 days. Accommodation in Sarajevo and Belgrade on a bed & breakfast basis.
