Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1 — Flight from Istanbul to Sarajevo and City Tour

The group will meet in the international departures terminal at Istanbul Airport in the morning; you are advised to arrive at the airport at least three hours before your flight. The Turkish Airlines flight departs at 12:45 and arrives in Sarajevo at 13:35. After arrival, enjoy a panoramic tour of Sarajevo, including Baščaršija, Sebilj Square, the Copperware Bazaar, the Latin Bridge, the Sacred Heart Cathedral, and the Eternal Flame Memorial. Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, is a city where Ottoman bazaar architecture sits alongside streets dating from the Austro-Hungarian period. Established in the 15th century, Baščaršija is considered the heart of the city, with its copper workshops, small shops, and Sebilj Fountain. Copperworking is still practiced in the Copperware Bazaar, known as Kazandžiluk, where handmade coffee pots and plates are made. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2 — Sarajevo

The day starts with a buffet breakfast served at the hotel. The optional excursion on the itinerary visits Blagaj Tekke, the Neretva River, Blagaj Dervish Tekke, Mostar Old Bridge, Mostar Bridge and Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque. Those who do not wish to join the tour can enjoy free time at the hotel throughout the day. Blagaj Tekke, one of the Balkans’ best-known dervish buildings, dates back to the 16th century and stands where the Buna River emerges from beneath a rock. The Neretva River runs through the Herzegovina region and is known for its turquoise waters and the bridge in Mostar. Mostar Old Bridge, or Stari Most, is a 16th-century example of Ottoman architecture. It was added to the UNESCO list after being rebuilt following the war and is known for the tradition of jumping from the bridge. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3 — Sarajevo

The morning begins with an open buffet breakfast at the hotel. The optional excursion in the itinerary takes in the Tunnel of Hope, the Bosna River, Vrelo Bosne National Park, Travnik Castle, the Alaca Mosque, and the Suleymaniye Mosque. Guests who do not wish to join this tour can enjoy free time at the hotel. In your free time, you can independently explore the area around the Sebilj Fountain in Sarajevo and get a closer look at the city's bazaar atmosphere. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 — Sarajevo – Istanbul Return
