Thailand Tours

Thailand tours usually mean flight-inclusive packages that begin with a city itinerary in Bangkok and end with a beach holiday in Phuket or Pattaya. Thailand tours generally start with a city itinerary in the capital, Bangkok, followed by a stay at seaside hotels in Phuket or Pattaya. Some itineraries combine Thailand with Singapore, Kuala Lumpur or the Maldives. This page lists the Thailand tours currently available, along with the number of nights, airline and starting price per person.

Thailand Tour Prices

Flights have the biggest impact on the price of a Thailand tour: the same program can vary significantly depending on the departure date, airline, and whether the flight is direct or connecting. Other key factors are the hotel’s star rating, the number of nights spent in Phuket or Pattaya, and whether Singapore, Kuala Lumpur or Bali is added to the itinerary. The price shown in the list is the starting price per person based on a double room; the applicable price for each date is shown separately in the calendar on the tour page. The price generally includes international and domestic flights, airport taxes, accommodation with breakfast, transfers and the city tour in the program; lunch and dinner, along with optional island and boat trips, are excluded from most programs.

How Many Days Should a Thailand Tour Be?

Because the flight is long, much of the first and last day of a Thailand tour is spent traveling. 5–6-night programs combine Bangkok with a single beach destination. The most common duration is 7 nights: two or three nights of sightseeing in Bangkok, followed by four or five nights of a beach holiday in Phuket or Pattaya. Tours of 8 nights or more add Singapore, Kuala Lumpur or Bali. For first-time visitors, a 7-night program combining Bangkok and Phuket is a well-balanced introduction.

Bangkok, Phuket or Pattaya?

Bangkok’s temples, palace complex and markets are at the heart of city itineraries. Phuket is an island on the Andaman Sea, known for its boat tours and beaches. Pattaya is a coastal city a few hours by road from Bangkok. Most itineraries combine two or all three of these destinations; the number of nights at each is listed in the day-by-day itinerary for each tour.

Airline and Connections

Half of the itineraries currently available include direct flights with Turkish Airlines; the others use connecting flights with airlines such as Qatar Airways (Doha), Turkmenistan Airlines (Ashgabat) and Singapore Airlines (Singapore). The connection point and waiting time are shown in the tour’s Transportation Information section.

Visa

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Turkish citizens holding ordinary passports can enter Thailand visa-free for up to 30 days for tourism (from 15 September 2026). Entry to Singapore is visa-free, while Malaysia can be entered with a 90-day tourist visa issued free of charge at the border.

When to Go?

November–February is Thailand’s driest and relatively coolest period. Phuket’s monsoon season runs from May to October; the sea can be rough during these months, and some boat tours may not operate.

What Is There to See in Bangkok?

Bangkok’s most famous landmark is the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew) within its grounds. Nearby Wat Pho is known for its giant reclining Buddha statue, while Wat Arun, across the Chao Phraya River, is famous for its porcelain-decorated tower. Boat trips on the river, floating markets and Chatuchak Market, which opens on weekends, are frequent stops on tour itineraries. In the evening, Khao San Road and rooftop bars showcase the city’s lively side.

What Is There to Do in Phuket and Pattaya?

Boat tours run from Phuket to the Phi Phi Islands and Phang Nga Bay, home to James Bond Island; Patong Beach is the island’s liveliest area. From Pattaya, you can take a boat to Koh Larn; Nong Nooch Botanical Garden and the Sanctuary of Truth are highlights. Most of these excursions are optional; prices are listed on each tour’s page.

Practical Information

The currency is the Thai baht. Clothing that covers the shoulders and knees is required in temples, and shoes must be removed before entering. Laws protect respect for the royal family. Street food is common, and tap water should not be drunk. Travellers entering Thailand must complete the digital arrival card (TDAC) before arrival.

Flights and Time Difference

A direct flight from Istanbul to Bangkok takes around 9–10 hours. Thailand is 4 hours ahead of Türkiye; taking it easy on the first day can help you adjust.

Thai Cuisine

Pad thai, tom yum soup, green curry and mango sticky rice are the best-known dishes in Thai cuisine; dishes are usually spicy, and you can specify your preferred spice level when ordering.
